3.) Another way to earn Up to 70% Consigning at Kids Layne:
a.) Consign 25 or more items sizes 6-14.
b.) Consign 10+ Mini Boden items sizes 3-14.
c.) Consign 10+ Matilda Jane items sizes 3-14.
d.) Consign 50+ clothing items & 50+ non clothing, non soft goods items. (Toys, furniture, wagons, trikes, books, DVDs etc.)

PREMIER CONSIGNOR OPTION
BE the FIRST to SHOP by becoming a PREMIER CONSIGNOR. All you have to do is consign at least ‘25 boutique accepted items’ and volunteer for a 4 hour shift.
If you can’t volunteer, consign as many items as you like and shop the preview sale an hour after the premier consignors start to shop.
THE $$$
IF YOU CONSIGN IN BOTH KIDS LAYNE & LADIES LAYNE SALE YOU WILL EARN 70% OF THE SELLING PRICE. Otherwise, consignors earn 60% of the selling price of each item sold. If you sign up as a consignor, there is no minimum # of items to consign unless you are a premier consignor.

CRITICAL CONSIGNOR INFORMATION!!!
** THERE IS A $20 CONSIGNING FEE FOR EACH SALE. THE FEE WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR SALES EARNINGS.
Please select a consignor drop off appointment & please be on time with your scheduled appointment. You may sign up for your drop off appointment on the consignor page after you log in with your consignor number and password.
Consignors Pick up Unsold Items based on consignor number (Consignors will pick their own clothes off of the racks to expediate the check out process and to write checks at the time of closing)

Pick Up Sunday, Feb 26th
If you are consignor # 0 – 1550 – pick up between 2 – 3PM
Consignor # 1550-1600 pick up between 3-4PM
Consignor # 1600 and above pickup from 4-4:30PM
Ladies Layne Consignors
Pick up – All Consignor Numbers from Sunday, March 18th 10-12 noon
Deadline for entering items into the system: KIDS LAYNE Sunday Feb. 19 at 5PM! LADIES LAYNE Monday March 12 at 5pm! After that you will be able to print your tags, but you will not be able to enter any new items into the system.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONSIGNING
Consigning with Kids & Ladies Layne requires minimal work on your part due to our web based tagging program. It offers an easy way to enter tags and automatically populates the inventory sheet, it tracks your sales online during the sale and offers fast reconciliation for speedy payment.
All you have to do is:

- On the consignor home page, sign up for a drop off appointment.
- Check closets and attics for outgrown boutique or designer clothing, shoes, furniture, upscale toys, wagons, bikes and accessories in excellent condition, filtering out those items with damage or visible signs of wear and those on our list of items we are not accepting.

- Click here on ” Kids Layne Item Entry & Tag printing” or “Ladies Layne Item Entry & Tag printing” to start entering your items into the tagging system. Enter them in “Work with My Consigned Items”. Choose a Category, size, PLEASE PUT THE BRAND OF CLOTHING in the description. You do not need to enter anything in the Description Line #2. Indicate if you want us to donate the item to charity. Kids Layne donated items will be given to the Children’s Museum of Richmond for their Boutique store & the Ladies Layne items will go to GoodWill.
- Once you have entered all your items, print the inventory report and bring it to the sale during your drop-off appointment time.
- At your drop off, after check in, you will place your clothes on the correct size rack. Everything will be clearly marked and accessible to make placement fast and seamless.
- And…the fun part…..monitor your sales during the sale!
- At consignor pick up, you will be responsible for pulling your items off the rack.
What we will do:
- At your drop off appointment, we will review the clothing and accept items that meet our specifications.
- Update your sales nightly so that you can monitor your daily and total sales. (they do not update real time)
- After the sale we tally your earnings as 60% of the selling price on each item you sold, and issue a check to you for this amount, less a $20.00 consignor fee to cover advertising and location rental. We will issue your check at consignor pick up. Our commission is 40% for consignors so that we can offer VISA/Master Card payment for our shoppers and a web based tagging program.
Rules:
At Kids & Ladies Layne, we want to sell only the highest quality products and clothing. As a consignor, it is your responsibility to ensure that your clothing has not been recalled and meets national safety standards.
