Consignor Kids Layne Sale Schedule

** New this sale are consignor drop off appointments, please be on time with your scheduled appointment. You may sign up for your drop off appointment on the consignor page after you log in with your consignor number and password.

Consignor Pick up Unsold Items on Sunday August 22, 2010 based on consingor number (this is a change to expediate the check out process)

If you are consignor # 0 – 1550 – pick up between 9AM -10AM

Consignor # 1550-1600 pick up between 11AM – 12 Noon

Consignor # 1660 and above pickup from 1-2PM

Consignors must sign up to consign and have items entered into the system by August 10th at 6AM.

Instructions to consign in a Kids Layne Sale

IMG_7572Consigning with Kids Layne requires minimal work on your part due to our web based tagging program. It offers an easy way to enter tags and automatically populates the inventory sheet, it tracks your sales online during the sale and offers fast reconciliation for speedy payment.

All you have to do is:

  • Sign up by  “Clicking here to register as a new consignor”.
  • If you have already signed up to consign, then click here to go to consignor home page
  • Next on the consignor home page, sign up for a drop off appointment.
  • Next, check closets and attics for outgrown clothing, bedding, strollers, Kettler Tricycles & Radio Flyer wagons & trikes in excellent condition, filtering out those items with damage or visible signs of wear and those on our list of items we are not accepting.
  • Click here to see a list of items and labels that we are currently accepting.
  • Click here on “Item Entry & Tag printing” to start entering your items into the tagging system.  Enter them in “Work with My Consigned Items”. Choose a Category, size, PLEASE PUT THE BRAND OF CLOTHING in the description. You do not need to enter anything in the Description Line #2. Indicate if you want us to donate the item to charity. Donated items will be given to the Children’s Museum of Richmond for their Boutique store.
  • Once you have entered all your items, print the inventory report and bring it to the sale during your drop-off appointment time.
  • And…the fun part…..monitor your sales during the sale!

What we will do:

  • At your drop off appointment, we will review the clothing and accept items that meet our specifications.
  • After the sale we tally your earnings as 60% of the selling price on each item you sold, and issue a check to you for this amount, less a $10.00 consignor fee to cover advertising and location rental. Our commission is 40% for all consignors so that we can offer VISA/Master Card payment for our shoppers and consignors and a web based tagging program.
  • Consignors will receive a pass for the private presale the night prior to the event.

Rules:

No children are allowed at the presale

Here at Kids Layne, we want to sell only the highest quality products and clothing for our children. As a consignor, it is your responsibility to ensure that your clothing has not been recalled and meets national safety standards.
